Mon/ A nice 23lb Mirror out narrows at weekend, Sunny day, but very cold. Just 1 lone Carper on in calm and chilly breeze. Tue/ Another cold morning. Pike dead bait rod riverside, no runs today. No Carp rods ? Wed/ Hard frost at sunrise, turning milder and misty. Just 1 Carper with Bream for his endeavours. Thu/ Cold late afternoon. One lure rod in search of Perch, just small ones to net. 2 Carp rods for the night, forecast hard frost. Fri/ Heavy dense fog at sunrise, soon clearing. Only Bream to last nights rods. Small Pike to Lure roaming rod. Sat/ Another chilly morning, 3 Carp rods on for the night, Saw no shows ? All quite again. Sun/ Only one Rod on today in brighter milder conditions, with a good Easterly.
